Destinations (3ft x 3ft) is built on layered Baltic birchwood panels, hand-crafted by sculptor Adam Labe, and designed with a French cleat hanging system for seamless display. The circular form reflects the cyclical nature of life, while triangular motifs reference the “eye of providence,” symbolizing inner and outer awareness.
Using a rich “narrative syntax” of repeated iconography, airplanes, flowers, houses, rendered through screenprint, watercolor, gouache, spray paint, and light-sensitive pigment, the work creates layered, dreamlike landscapes. Baltic birch cutouts extend beyond the circle, suggesting an expansion of psychological space.
Exhibited in numerous art shows across the U.S., Destinations is being offered here at a never-before-available price. The shifting combinations invite viewers to form their own connections, sparking reflection and re-interpretation over time. In this way, the work becomes both a mirror of memory and a catalyst for transformation.
